MSF course
You guys have any tips or suggestions. Clint already said it's going to be hell this time of year with all of the gear on in the sun, but oh well I want to get it done soon.
Do you take your own bike?
What to bring?
How long does it take
Etc...
Where do you take it? Cost, etc...

I took mine right off of i-4 just past the fairgrounds. It sucks ass. THey provide the bikes (cruisers)! Wear long jeans, long shirt, boots that come above your ankle, and a helmet. I paid 175 to take it. My tips are have fun and relax if your not familiar with a bike.

if you already have a bike, and u need the license, take the advanced (expert?) rider course, you use your own bike, it costs half as much and only takes one day on the course instead of two..
and you still can take the certificate to the DMV for the endorsement...
just FYI

I took the one at Armwood also. There was a month waiting list, but it was the cheapest one I found at $175. I took it less than a month ago and it wasn't that hot. This girl there wore a dirtbike mesh jersey. They didn't care since it was full length, and it was probably pretty comfortable. You have to wear jeans, over-the-ankle boots, full-fingered gloves, long-sleeve shirt, and a helmet. You can use their helmets and gloves, but they basically suck since they've been used by a million people. Class is tuesday's from 6-9 and then you have to be there at 7am on saturday and sunday. That lasts until about 4 or 5. To sign up, you have to drive to Armwood on a Tuesday evening and sign up/pay in the counselors office. It's right inside the doors if you park in senior parking. Plus they have signs directing you. It's not hard and kind of fun. Good luck.
