okay so i've been trying to find an extension kit for my swing arm but since my bike is so old no one has them... anyone know someplace that sells them, i'll even buy a whole swing arm if they only carry it like that, i want an 8'' extension. its on a '93 gsx-r 750.

 

maybe also look into what newer parts may fit... you may get lucky and something might exchange!

why would you want to do that...extensions turn bikes into bricks man...but if you really want one my friend who makes bike parts was thinking about machining some, pm me your # and I will pass it along...

 

i get a new bike in december, an aprilia RSV 1000, so obviously its going to be dominant over my gsx-r so i'm goign to take out the motor, rebuild it low compression and turbo it, and obviously u don't want to go down the track w/ a turbo bike with out an extended swingarm cuz w/ a good track prep u'd flip straight over.

 

true, true...that is what they are made for...otherwise they are just ghetto...can't dig into a turn, can't hang in the twisties...get a swingarm like every Bikerboyz wannabe...swingarm extensions are for those without balance :lol :lol :lol

 

but, debo can probably have one made for very cheap...you might want to consider actually extending your swingarm if you want it just for the track? I know he can do that for a very, very low price...possibly free (well not free, but beer)
