All I've heard at work is "you better be careful, that guy on bayshore deserves the death pentalty, he should be charged with manslaughter" ...I have my rants about that.. why did the woman have head phones on? why didn't she look both ways like I'm SURE her mother told her to... So bassically 3 peoples LIVES and 3 people to be possiblly CRIPLED FOR LIFE is only worth 70 bucks? Yet a person driving too fast on a bike deserves to have his life taken from him because a stupid fucking bitch didn't look and hurt him as well? I bet that guy in the car was just fucking fine running those fucking bikes over.. Holy fucking shit.. I'm done with this shit.. I'm gunna be throwing this shit in ALOT of peoples faces tomorow at work..

why wasn't the guy charged with vehicular manslaughter instead of homicide? maybe they don't have that in his state. but he DEFINITELY should have been guilty of injury by vehicle.

as for the money, i'm sure the civil suits will drain him and his insurance. but this is still unreal.

I completely disagree with the court ruleing obviously. $70 fine is out right rediculous, I really can't believe it, but as far as the the bayshore incident I disagree with you guys. Plain and simple he was going 80 mph on a road where that's way to fast to be going.

 

yes he was going 80 mph and speeding.. yes he was wrong.. but holy shit this guy killed 3 innocent bikers and injured 3 more.. so 1 pedestrian is worth more then 3 bikers?

 

+1 Im still unsure of what happened exactly... the article lacks detail. But regaurdless if the driver of the van really was at fault anyone will tell you that 2 $35 traffic violations doesn't come close to what he deserves. (as far as the bayshore incident I stated my opinion in that thread)
