2003 CBR600RR or 2004 ZX6R???
I've been riding older cruisers and dual sport dirt bikes for the past 3 years. I have an 82 Yamaha Maxim 750 and a Yamaha XT dual sport dirt bike.
I'm looking into purchasing an 03 CBR600RR(red/black), it's a brand new left over, selling for $7,900. I am also looking at the kawasaki 2004 ZX6R(636) in either orange or green costing $7,999.
Price isn't much of a factor to me, but what does anyone think are some considerations I should take into buying either or.
What bikes does anyone prefer here???

-66 Nm (48.7 ft. lbs) @ 11000 rpm
-168 kg (370.4 pounds)
ZX6R:
- 120 hp (89.5 kW) @ 13200 rpm
-64.4 Nm (47.5 ft. lbs) @ 12000 rpm
-161 kg (354.9 pounds)
Just looking at the numbers, the Kawasaki would seem to have the upper hand when it comes to performance. Its got more power, and weighs less.
But of course, how well the bike performs will depend mainly upon road conditions, the bike's maintanance, and even more, rider skill level.
Based simply on looks, I like the CBR better. I think Kawaski styling is awkward, and their color shemes are horrific.
It just depends on your personal preference (the universal answer to all "bike vs. bike" threads).

You shoud get a Busa. (The universal squid answer to all "bike vs. bike" threads.)

I'd have to go with the 600rr, but i've never ridden a zx6r so that's a biased opinion.

get the cbr. i'll be getting the zx-6r soon and i don't want to have the bike everyone has. (although this may be the case, but i don't see a lot of 6r's around)

in my opinion, the cbr. its a nice looking bike.. but since i dont have a bike, YET, my opnion shouldnt count. Go with what you like, - you say you dont want a bike everyone has then get an Aprilia.

I am 5'7" with short legs. I can actually touch on a new 636, not even close on a CBR. The position isn't that aggressive on the 636.....honestly it would be my bike of choice.
