let me start it off - i owned kawasaki and hondas my first suzuki was a 93 gsxr 750 - that pos bike smokes every where, over heat, leaks..etc u name it. its can't hit 60mph without plastic falling off. all the plastics have to use ziptie, its was big ,the plastics look like its came from walmart then slap on it. handling like crap .but that didn't teach me a lesson - i wanta buy another gsxr then that show me about gixxer owner, they're arsehole...

 

well dont get an old one get 99+ thats is fuel injected. i know alot of people with gixxers and they all love them. my buddy has an r1 and his girl has a gixxer 1000.when we ride he takes his girls bike because its way better than the r1. i like r1's too but they are really small and have a short wheelbase.its all personal preference and this argument will never be won.

 

well.... chode since you don't want to start a flame thread, why would you post this? Just wondering? Whatever bike you have it's because of personal preference if you want a honda get a honda, if you want a yamaha get a yamaha................

 

 

personal preference. so keep the mullet for yourself. like i said i like r1's but there too small for me. im 6'3" 220 i look like magila gorrila on those things that why i got a gixxer. dont hate.

Your the one that was quoted saying that the gixxer is "way better than the R1".

I didnt say a single thing about the gixxer or the R1.
I love gixxers....and mullets.

 

I know it's extremely biased, I just thought it was funny, that's all. In all seriousness, I know that gixxers perform up there with all the other bikes. Hell, I would have posted it if it were about hondas or kawasakis too, because like you said, it's all about personal preference. Like I said, I found it on another board and thought it was funny. That is all.
