Black Magic
If anybody on this board gets the idea to use some of that Black Magic tire shine stuff on your bike, don't. I sprayed some on the sides of my front tires the other day, and the tires looked great, but that stuff is *SO* slippery. The first turn I took after spraying down the tires almost put me down. The whole front end of my bike started sliding. It was no good. Luckily I was able to keep the bike up. I don't know how, but I'm glad I did. Now I'm just waiting for this stuff to wear off so I can run some curves and stuff again.
glad you didnt drop it

Oh boy. You my friend are one lucky SOB. You just commited one of the cardinal sins of motorcycle ownership without any retrobution(sp) from the asphalt. This would be a good time to make a mental note.

I think I figured out a way to get that crap on there without dying. Next time I'm spraying it on a rag and wiping it onto the outside edge of the tire.
If you click my sig pic, it'll take you to my website. I have pics of the bike on there with the tires all shined up. It really does look good.

Oh well, you live and learn.
