military discount is where asked... (my fav is @ popeyes chicken) some places give discount on helmets for bikes, etc.. insurance the best I have gotten is USAA which is military restricted.. meaning only military can get it. most my friends say its higher then progressive pursay though. Ive had it since I've been driving so.. insurance doesn't give discount.. good rates.. they really don't help that much but u can get a star card to help build your credit if you don't have any or it sucks... It's high interest though.. AF isn't too bad...depends what you uwant to do. None of the branches are horrible.. it's all about what your lifestyle is and how you want it to be.. some people can't do ANY of the lifestyles.. some don't like sleeping in the dirt and some do... it also depends on your carreer.. af SP's are always deployed just like army and sleep inthe dirt as well. AF has special forces as well as navy and army.. we actually train army guys for excape and evasion.. aka SERES course. For pilots and flyers this is a yearly requirement in the AF...

 

I know about the AF-SPFC's. I once concidered going that route cause i liked the idea of secret ops., but i'm glad i didn't. What i was told is that the AF-SPFC's mainly spearhred the coming insurgence of all branches. Such as setting securing or setting up airfields in enemy territory and the likes. Where as the seals and frogs are for snuff missions and the green beret's are for recon/search and destroy/and emergency evac.

 

green beret are also for force mulstiplication unlike the others making them very unique and special..
