Default 93 Suzuki GSXR 600 Good Starter?

Hey ive riden bikes a few times. Mostly harleys or other similar bikes but i would like to get a faster more sporty bike. I found a 93 Suzuki GSXR 600 for 3500. Not sure how many miles but its got a little bit of work done to it and looks pretty good from the pics. Any thing i should really look out for? How many miles are too many and also do these bikes hold up pretty well?
Thanks
Dave

for that price it better have low miles! But take a look at the tires, chain/sprockets and check all over the engine for any visible blemishes. But yeah that is a good starter bike!

Check out some the bike shops. They usually have good deals. As for a good starter 600 is the way to go, but if you have been riding then get what you think will be fun, honestly you would be alot happier with a 750 gsxr.
