Default good started bike?

iv been looking into some crotch rockets for some time now. what do you guys think is a good bike to start out with? i was thinking about a gsxr 600 or 750. im a pretty big guy so im not worried about it popping up un me. what do u guys think?

it's not about the bike popping up on you, it's about you not being able to control it. Have you ever ridden motorcycles before? Take the MSF course before you get on a bike. Look into a katana 600 or an older cbr 600.

First off, they are not crotch rockets, if anybody that rides hears that coming out of your mouth you'll either get laughed at or smacked. And i would not recommend any new bike over 599cc to anybody that has no clue what they are doing. if you're set on a 6 or 7 better start looking in the early to mid 90's. they were heavier and didnt have the power that todays bikes do.
