F/S My very rare Honda NT650
I'm putting my trusty 1989 Honda Hawk GT NT650 up for sale.
It has under 13K original miles. It's in really good shape. It's not perfect, but it needs very little to make it perfect. Very rare bike only made for 3 years.
It's a sport/standard like a Ducati Monster. This bike was very innovative then and is still not outdated today. Big cult following with a large aftermarket. Easy bike for beginners but advanced enough for experts or for making into a track bike.
info:
Honda NT650 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Factory equipped with the RC31 Aluminum chassis, 650cc Honda V-twin, and a single sided swing arm. Tons of fun to ride, very tossable, yet comfortable. Runs and rides great, starts right up. People are always shocked that this is a 20 year old bike. It's still tight and solid like new and everything works, lights, horn, etc.
Selling it to make room in the garage for the next project, and I just don't ride it much. Asking $3100. Sorry, No test rides unless you have cash in hand. PM me if you want to check it out, I'm in the Riverview/Brandon area.
Thanks - Ben

CRAP...I meant to put this in the Bike Tech F/S forum, I must have messd up....sorry. Please move it.

I don't remember the name of the guy. I bought it last October in Orlando from a young college aged guy. He had it a few months and he told me he bought it from an older guy that was his neighbor that had it since was new.
I since have cleaned it up considerably, put on new handlebars, grips, turn signals, and attached the plate on correctly. Other than that I haven't had to do anything to it. Though it could use a new chain.

Haha yeah, thanks! I did spit shine it, but actually, its got a few scratches and a small ding in the tank. Like I said it's not perfect. The kid I bought it from dropped it over on its right side in the three months he had it. So it has a couple of small scratches here and there, nothing deep. The right rear rear-set has a crack in part of the aluminum housing. (though nothing serious.)
It's really a great bike, and tons of fun to ride. I just prefer the Triumph more, so the Honda sits there in the garage mostly.
I always wanted one of these Hawk GTs when I was a kid, now I've had one. So it's time to pass it on. Would make a great bike for anyone just starting out. Or would make a great track bike!
Price is totally negotiable. I started out high, but am willing to talk. Also interested in interesting trades.
Thanks!
here are some neat Hawk GTs for inspiration:
