170+whp SS legal motor for sale.
Fresh 170+rwhp SS motor with full documentation and dyno sheets...... 2,000 to buy outright or 1,300 to 1,500(depending on mileage) with trade of stock engine.
Please don't ask me what is done to the engine, as i could not with 100% certainty tell you. However, i have the receipts from the builder(EDR) for their work. I have yet to run into an engine builder that will tell you every little thing they do for their motors. If they did that then it would be hard to charge such prices as everybody would just do it themselves. These guys spend a lot of time figuring out how to get the power out of these motors and they wont just hand over the instruction manual.
What i can tell you is it is a completely legal motor for running SS class. No cheater motor needed here. Just a straight up honest tech passing build. Yes, there is more left in the motor as it was originally tuned for reliability. Do some work on the intake(stacks/filter), some aggressive remapping, and try something a bit more potent than U4 and you could see a big improvement.
Would like to sell it so it doesn't collect anymore dust. Still crank it and let it get up to 180 degrees every couple weeks to keep things lubricated. Will gladly consider a trade for a stock motor. Its actually preferable. The EDR case covers have since been replaced with the stock OEM covers.
I know this is obvious, but invariably people will ask; the red lines are the baseline and the blue is after the motor work. Only thing that changed was the motor work. And if you look at the run conditions the parameters were actually more favorable for the baseline than the race motor runs.
