Default Directions to Sebring/Sebring Caravan

I was looking for directions to Sebring Raceway and on their site, it just says 60 East to 27 South, then East on Hwy 98.... Is it that easy? I assume there'll be signs and stuff...

Also, Jeremy (w0rd) and I are planning on meeting at the former Hungry Howie's at the corner of Hwy 60 and Miller Rd in Valrico at 6:15am and heading out from there if anyone wants to join us...

I'm in Saturday. We should get there fairly fast.

No, not even close...It's a photo shop pic. I usually puss out in the 130's on the Howard Frankland (no traffic at 3 a.m., for the uptight crowd). I think they do 153 and are drag limited. That was just for a laugh and you can't see the "MPH" light, so it could have been KPH anyhow.

No, I would have made it more realistic if I was really going to try to pass it off. Even at 150 mph in 6th, the revs would be up at 8,300 to 8,400. That pic was taken with the cruise on at 111, in 5th gear, on the way to G'Ville. It's a nice speed because you're at 5,900 RPM's and ready to nudge over to the hot cam lobes if you need to step on it.

Hope the 930 is back in action soon. You haven't been out for a while now.

It would be easy to do 62 at 8,800 in 2nd and just drop a 1 in front of it through "Picture It".

Is there a track event at Sebring this weekend? I've been working on the house so much I haven't been keeping up with the local track news. BTW, there is a guy from Tallahassee that has a red s2000. That car is extremely fast. He runs 2 min 38-46 seconds around the full course. Try and get a ride if he's there. He's got a tire rack sticker on the windshield. Good Luck

Yup, I hope so too.

When I get it back on the road it will be a force to be reconned with.

After the motor and tranny work is complete I will be working on getting some new race rubber and replacing my 17 year old and 130,000 mile rubber suspension bushings with urethane and getting some new shocks and struts.

Once the work is complete the car will never be able to see over 160 MPH again, which will not bother me one bit.
