Well, if you're Matt, David or James, someone checked the "first time" box on your form, which puts you in the "virgin" class.

Or did you mean you should have been in the virgin class and weren't? Then the opposite applies.

Glad you had fun. I think everyone enjoyed the course.

Yeah, that was probably it's major issue. I'm really starting to hate that site. It's just too small.

I knew that.

Thanks! You'll be all set for the members-only June event.

Oh and some slipped in an extra time that I didnt do, I dunno how that happened I only got 6 runs in because my battary came loose in the back.

I just looked again, none of the "autocross experience" boxes were checked. No biggie. I put you in Street Tire Novice by default. The only real fun of the "Virgin" class is if you win it, anyway!

So, you're saying that your last time of 50.whatever wasn't yours? Or is it one of the other times you aren't claiming. No big deal either way, but I'll fix it if you can tell me what to fix.

Gotta say, it's awesome to see young people out autocrossing! (even if you do make me feel old) I wish I'd have known about this sport when I was your age. Instead, I learned most of my driving lessons the hard way. Seven accidents between ages 16 and 19, totalled two cars.

Look me up at the next event, I'll do what I can to help you learn.

I'll take partial credit for that incident for setting up the finish the way I did. (it was goofy as was mentioned) But the finish was completely straight! I made sure of that. The only iffy part was the length of the braking zone... and only if you were dumb enough to stay on the gas beyond the lights, which were well marked this time. (only one person blew through the cones at the end of the braking zone, and not by much)

I didn't see you hit the lights. How the hell did you do that?

Note to self: Gotta start designing completely idiot-proof finishes again... even if it takes away from the rest of the course.
