I can when I can and go as far as I can. Unfortunately work keeps me pretty busy and mobile. I just have fun going out and hanging out with friends and running the cars. Cost all depends on the quality of the event and how bad I am jonesing for a run.

Do you autocross?
Yes

How often?
Once or twice a month

How far will you travel?
2 hours if it's a good site (Like GIR!)

How much will you pay to enter?
30 bucks max

Serious competition or just fun?
I tell myself it's all in fun, but there's a little bit of competitor in me! Maybe someday I'll pony up for the upgrades so I can really be competitive in STS

Here's my answer to you.....

Do you autocross?
I used to, just that everyone I used to go with doesn't do it anymore. Other than a friend, Blake Fuller, thats keep me wanna to do some more.

How often?
A few years back, once a month

How far will you travel?
Has travel as far to Road Atlanta to Moroso West Palm Beach to Sebring.

How much will you pay to enter?
Depands on the event but the most was I ever pay was $75bucks

Serious competition or just fun?
At first, I spend the money on suspension for wanna to do something else (serous). Lost interest afterawhile when classes were offer (alot of money) and decided it was more for fun.

How much is SCCA membership? I've only been to one auto-x so far. $30 wouldn't be bad.. I suppose.. for once a month.

Edit: Blah.. $55/year for SCCA.. That's not bad. I don't know how much it is to run in the Auto-x's if you're an SCCA member though. I'll prolly find that in a few minutes though.

Mostly, yes. Are you a weekend worker? The Sunriders club will probably have a night autocross in June that you might be able to make.

Or, if you're up for a short drive in September, you could go to the SCCA Solo II Nationals in Topeka, Kansas. They run during the week.

If there is enough interest, and someone who's willing to step up and chair the event, we could try do an event on one of the Monday holidays. Memorial Day or or Veterans Day or something.

Yeah, I'm a weekend worker. 12 hour days Sat Sun, and 8 hour days Thurs Fri. My weekends are shot, because I get home at 7:30 at the earliest, and have to be back downtown at 7am.

So how much does it cost if you're a member?

For a regular SunRiders Autocross, the entry fee is $25 for members or $30 for non-members.
