only have one car to drive.
While it might be fun to see how it would do, my 2003 4 door F150 just isn't auto cross material. lol.
hoping to have a car to drive in the not too distant future.

As a first time "guest", you really don't need to know anything. Just sign the waiver, watch and learn. It's a pretty relaxed environment.

Just take the plunge and co-drive, you won't regret it! Plenty of good folks to give all the help and advice you could want. As a novice you won't be able to ride with each other, but there will be instructors who will be happy to ride along and help out if you want.

Too late to register for this event now.
You can definitely ride with people while you're there, though. Most people are happy to take you along, especially on their earlier runs. If they're trying to compete, sometimes they might get "serious" with their last run or two.
