Brazilian Formula One racing legend Ayrton Senna's remarkable story, charting his physical and spiritual achievements on the track and off, his quest for perfection, and the mythical status he has since attained, is the subject of Senna, a documentary feature that spans his years as an F1 driver, from his opening season in 1984 to his untimely death a decade later. Far more than a film for F1 fans, Senna unfolds a remarkable story in a remarkable manner, eschewing many standard documentary techniques in favor of a more cinematic approach that makes full use of astounding footage—much of which is drawn from F1 archives and previously unseen. easily one of the best movies I have ever seen. I know CFBMW has a group going in orlando, but depends where I am when it opens. May have to go see it in tampa.

about 10 of us are meeting at Fly bar between 5:30 and 7:00 and walking over to tampa theatre.

Who knows what lurks within the memories of you mind related to
where you have placed your butt during your lifetime. I had the best
seat in the house.

I saw this Sunday just before the gathering over at you-know-where
(I don't want the complainers saying this should be posted in the events listing)

anyway...it was a great movie. This was real. It was like being next to the guy
and hearing the stuff that really goes on in Racing. Good human touch also.

I'm not an F1 fan, but this was better than any scripted movie.

You gotta see it, folks. Last day in Tampa is Wednesday at 730PM -Bob
