$2011 GRM Challenge - Hello Kitty Hits the Paint Booth.
Hello Kitty Racing is returning to the GRM Challenge. Our 1975 TR7 hit the paint booth this past weekend. Tod always seems to find rust free cars that are smacked on the driver side. Bondo and I are friends.

We are going with the "Race Car" option.
The rules allow gutting the interior, but require a dash.
Seat belts don't count in the budget, so we have a nice one.
If all goes as planned, the TR-8 suspension goes in this weekend.
(Luckily we had a V-8 donor car.)

We found an aluminum Land Rover 4.2 Litre for $200, Plus a wet Nitrous kit ($125) for the drags.
The motor is kind of a bolt in deal, but there are a ton of little details.
I think Tod has to change everything except the starter.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
