Default Sunday 4-10 at Z-Hills. We are running backwards?

Hi guys,
If you happen by Z-hills this weekend, please note that we will be running in the opposite direction. By that I mean that we will be staging at the opposite end of the taxi-way, and the turn around will be toward the sky drivers. That should give us a better surface for the turn around.

So when you arrive, drive down to the far end to unpack your car.
I do appogiize in advance becasue there will be a bunch of cones in your way as you try to get to the other end. Try not to take them at speed. You know who you are.

that is very good news!! I like the idea of eliminating the issue of the dip in the turn around that some of us hit.

Here are directions to the Zhills site:
Porsche Club of America Suncoast Region - Autocross Directions

Be sure you're there plenty early, since you'll have to drive past the course to get to the paddock at the opposite end from where it usually is.

Lola, there are always skydivers at Zhills!

Car is down for now but parts are on the way.

Sounds like a good idea Mark. Post up on how it goes.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Yep the course looks small from 3200 feet I did a tandem jump today there.. Something about falling at 120 MPH that now makes an Auto X a little tame.. Not that I am dissing the AutoXs.. Ill still be doing them.
