I love how close that was, but that was totally uncalled for by Bergmeister. Granted he got shafted by Rizi in 2007 at Sebring (which was most likely his reasoning for his actions) with some dirty driving on Melo's part, but at those speeds and deliberately running someone into the wall is totally rediculous, especially when they are clearly ahead of you beating you to the line. If it wasnt for him completely driving Magnussen into the wall, Magnussen clearly would have won that race, and can't believe ALMS officials would still give the win to Flying Lizard. How can they stand on that pit-lane crossing against Corvette yet totally neglect addressing that wreck? If that wasnt a race-track it would be considered attempted vehicular manslaughter!
Even though this is 2 year old footage I love the passion it still draws out of folks.
Smbstyle, but what about the purposeful bump coming out of the last turn?

You get one move generally out of a corner before it's considered blocking. Since Borg was leading he had rights to drive his car anywhere (once). Until Magnussen gets his nose with Borg, he should be backing down. Once Mag gets to Borg, he tries to steer away from the wall and that puts him in the oversteer. It would have been a disjustice for Magnussen to win if it sent Borg wide on the final turn. Magnussen's only chance was dive bombing and chopping Borg on those final laps, once even resulting in penalty. IMHO...

regardless of how i feel, that was an incredible battle! i wish every race would be that intense, minus the huge crash.
