I think I found my next track car...Boss 302
I've been following the development of this car for a while, and just a few weeks ago they had a media event at Laguna Seca so the press could see it first hand and what it is capable of.
For those who don't know much about it; it's a completely different animal than the standard GT and not just a decal package. Built motor from the factory some headwork done and lightened valvetrain, runners-in-the-box intake manifold, torsen diff, recaro seats, alacantra wrapped steering wheel, bigger front and rear sway bars, adjustable shocks/struts, bigger strut tower bar, lighter wheels, and the list goes on....
Anyways, they recently just got some good lap times out of it around Laguna Seca:

I saw that on Speed I guess it was. Of course I loved it, being a Mustang fan. Some hype there but the lap times don't lie.
I see that the 302 was being run in recent race(s) by Rehegen Racing, I think it was. Don't remember what the result was.

Yeah, Reheagen Racing is running one, and theres a Ford backed Multi-matic team running one. From what I remember it placed 2nd at Daytona in the Continental series behind Rum Bum Racing's M3 (funny, because that is the car that Ford designed the car to beat around Laguna Seca).
