I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Hi Craig, We are planning to head up fairly early Sunday and spend the night. From what I understand, there will be a test day Sunday with runs being sold for $10.00/3 runs on Sunday.

From the Buccaneer website:

The rental on Saturday is from 9 to 5. The equipment will be there when the gate opens at 9. Estimate a 10:30 start time. There will be a worker sign up in one hour blocks. SCCA membership will be required. Weekend membership is available for $15; it is included if preregistered for the State Championship event on Sunday.

For the Saturday test n tune day, the cost will be 3 runs for $10.00. Sold in sets of three only. Tickets will be issued and turned in at the start line. Buy as much as you want but no refunds. Test n tune will shut down about 4:00 so the Sunday course can get set up and we all exit the site by 5:00. I believe that cars & trailers can stay overnight as long as another release is signed.

Going to register today. I'm thinking I'll trailer up for this one. Going to play with alignments and set up for some toe-out.
