I know the season starts next month, and im looking for someone in the area who participates in FAST events to talk to and get an idea of the 1st race of the new season. thanks

And realize that while we run the competition season from September through July, the actual scheduling gets done on a regular calendar year (January to December), because that's the way site owners look at a year. So what you'll see in the event schedules only goes out through December 2010 at this point.

If you're looking for the next FAST event, it's 11 September at St Petersburg College. We open event registration on myautoevents.com a month in advance, so registration for the September event opens tonight (11 August) at 10. Get in early...they've been filling up quickly.

Just to clarify for everyone's future reference:
wedrivefast.com was a good answer.
The entire remaining calendar year schedule is at the bottom of the home page in a window labeled "Upcoming Events." You gotta scroll down. And just above that is a link to the forum thread that Word posted above.
