I was thinking "somebody's totally high if they think a 25-year-old race car is worth $300k"... then I saw it was Paul Newman's car. Maybe. But, still seems like a lot.

wonder if they take trades...? i think our car has a fairly high finishing avg comprable to that car. and our car is actually a car and not a tube frame. thats gotta be worth something.

The price is high for todays market based on the economy, however that isn't unheard of for a car like this with that kind of history. Probably would have sold real close to that just a few years ago...

did i read it right? it's been owned/built by newman but never won a race higher than scca runoffs, the only person to win in this car was scott sharp and they want $300k???
