A buddy of mine came over one day and we applied a sawsall to the middle of the car. It really does saw all.

Actually this was a really bad choice for this project, but I had about 7 Merkur XR4Tis sitting in the back yard at one point. So I thought why not.

IRS is really bad because the camber changes based on how much of a load you have in the trailer. It's also a bit nose heavy. The TR8 Convertable in my back year would have been a better choice, but would not have carried much.

I do have a GLH Omni and Shelby Charger just sitting there. Hmmm?? FWD hatchbacks. Now there's car trailer food for thought.

Thanks, I did go over it replacing the side marker lights, a tail light, and the rear hatch with nicer pieces. It also has 225/60/15 tires on Mustang rims. (Versus the small factory 195/60/14 )
And I'm glad you are not using a mint XR for Lemons racing.

I'm repainting the bumper this week.
I'm also kicking around the idea of adding a Cossie rear wing
and Smoked tail lights.

True, actually the XRTTTTi is going to have a fate WORSE then lemons for a year it's going to be a teenagers first car!!!

i kicked around the idea of making a 300zx into a tow behind camper (a-la tear drops) make some fold out crap, bed, mount a small tv, put a floor in the engine compartment to haul shit. would be unbalanced but look cool at z meets

 

can you unhook it and drive it around once you make it to ur desination ?
