Default St. Pete, Saturday May 15th - PCA

I just found out that this is an open to all event, so sorry to be giving people last minute notice.

Suncoast PCA will be in St. Pete on Saturday, May 15th the day before the FAST event. It is Sponsored By Bert Smith Porsche (Euro collection?). I believe they will be inviting clients to come out, so I'd expect a bunch of novices.

I'd like to have a 9 am drivers meeting, so get there early for tech please.
I believe Tod will be in charge of Tech, and I think he can be bribed with cash or Hello Kitty merchandise.

$20 for PCA and BMW members, $30 otherwise. I'm hearing lunch and some sort of freebies will be provided by the dealer.

P.S.
I have a course map, but could use one or two people experianced with that site to help set up the cones. And I think Tod could use a hand with tech, especially if we see a bunch of novices.

Cool beans, thanks for the heads up.

I'll try to make it if I can. Too bad I let my PCA membership lapse though, doh.

hmmmm. I think I might have to be back in Orlando by the weekend, but if not I might make it out. Need to find a car to drive though...

I have heard of that car. I think that one includes private advanced coaching, so it's a great rental deal!

so much going on one saturday. i'm tempted to hit up the Martin's Sports Car Club Mini Grand Prix at the Orange County Center. The entry fee is a bit high but add the gas to make it to St Pete ... we're even

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Law Enforcement training pad at Saint Petersburg College Allstate Campus. The street address of the pad is 3500 32nd St. S, just off of US19/34th St in St. Petersburg.

Like Word said.
I'll try to attach the site map.
I'm tempted to use the posted FAST event course map for the next day (5-16), but that seems like cheating. So it will be slighlty different. Like 20% different.
