Default SoloPro School - Comp Class

Well worth it for me.

On a 38 second course I did a 38.xxx.

On another 38 second course I did a 39.5 and the instructor did a 38.8.

Very happy with the instructors, the course change ups, the challenge of not walking the course after the change up (and I did not DNF), the info. given and the push that I received.

My arms are wasted from really pushing the car and handling it (Hooziers + manual steering)

I hope to see my improvements continue to develop.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Where was this at? At 38 seconds that sounds like a pretty tiny course.

I need to try this. Makes me nervous just thinking about it.

Not a tiny course by any means. It was held in Ft Myers and one of the courses, the one that I did the 39.5, was the same as the Nationals Course this past year in Lincoln, NE. It was more of the elements that made the course challenging.

They had me doing a lot of visualization as homework. On cones that I found were hard to find due to their viewing angle I really remembered to spot them ahead of time and be prepared.

Glad you got so much out of it. I suspected you would really enjoy it.
Congrats on being so close to the instructors time, that must feel good.

Sounds like a great time and very much worth it! Buckingham Airfield is a real nice autox area.
