Central Florida Race Complex is hosting an autocross event that is free of car classes with a lighter view on competition, and is open to anyone!

This event is a great way to start out in autocross and a great way to have some fun in between other autocross events if you are a weathered racer.

Here are the rules:
1. No donuts
2. No burnouts
3. No tires with wire showing; they damage the new asphalt
4. No leaking fluids
5. Bumpers [if attached] secure
6. Exhaust secure
7. Battery secure
8. Functioning seat belt/harness
9. Hood & trunk latch
10. Snell certified helmet (both driver & pass)
11. No loose items in cabin or trunk

It's $30 per driver, and $10 per spectator, no pre-registration. There will be a basic tech inspection at the event. I'll have a track layout ready in a week or so, so stay tuned!

Any updates on your timing equipment upgrades?

 

We're looking into purchasing new equipment, but we haven't ordered it so I don't think we'll have it up and running for this next event.

 

Hmmmm... who's going from Tampa? I might be up for another "fix" next weekend.

 

Do they have a big area to park a 32 foot trailer? I may consider coming out if I can bring a couple cars to try.

 

Yep, just give me a confirmation that you'll be there, and I'll double check that you'll have room. And the perk is, is that we charge per driver, not per car, so bring out however many cars you want!

Tod and I were thinking about hitting this event on the way over to Daytona, but it's just not going to wok out. But it would have been fun to do both.
