Default Had a great time at the BMW AutoX in Brooksville

Sunday was a great time! Eight runs on a fun course. The only real issue (and it is a serious one) is that Mary beat me..... again! She simply has no respect for the Male ego A great day!

Thanks to all that put it together.

Scott and Mary

yAy Mary!

hey Scott she is just trying to make you work harder.

I was going to go to Geneva this weekend but I hurt my back moving Friday. After this whole move mess is complete I'll be back out with my car and looking forward to some really nice seat time.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

yes, i'd also like to extend a huge thanks to the BMW club for putting on such a great event (as always). and more importantly, making non-club members feel just as welcome at your events. We (the Nissan guys) had a great time. to all who couldnt make it, the weather was perfect, the paratroopers entertained, and lunch kicked ass. so just think about that ; )

Scott told me Saturday that he was going to let Mary win at least 50% of the events this year just to be sure she's good and hooked on the sport. Sort of securing his investment in his future autocross career.
(I got yer back, bro. I think I just bought you about 10 months to get your act together and quit shaming the entire male species by getting beaten by a GIRL.)

Thanks Loren! I am looking into a remote control fuel cut-off system that I can activate from the sidelines when I need to. My dog wouldn't even look at me when I got home Sunday.

Solid turnout! It always amazes me that we can have two or more very well-attended autocrosses within 90 minutes of each other on the same date.
