I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

ITs a nice track one it dried out today i was gettting into 5th gear in 2 places and hitting about 105 on the back straight.
It rained last night so when i went out i really went slow due to all the oil in the track. its an old track. But alot of room an fast.
Tomorrow it should be 70 and dry so it will be great driving.
Ill be adding photos to FB site shortly.

Kris has been commenting on FB via phone updates. It was a good day, car ran really well, used about 1/2 a quart of oil all day. Front tires got flat spotted and need to be swaped out with another set for tomorrow. There are alot of really fast cars here. Alot of car have more than $500 engines. Track is fast, I am hitting over a 100 mph in 2 spots. getting into 5th gear in 3 spots. Were 18th? i think, having fun . There are still about 80 car running. It may rain tomorrow in the AM so that will really slow things down. THis track gets really slippery when wet.
Illl post some picts and Video in a few days. The hotel connection is to slow to upload picts.
Jalopnik has standings posted, the top 5 are A very light gutted cars. or B Alot of HP; Im happy to see a BMW 2002 in the top 10.
