I wanted to wish the Blacksheep Z team best of Luck next week.
Hopefully they can beat the 4th place finish of the westcoast Z team and be the top Z team.

How many Tampa teams are headed up for this one?

 

I think it the 2 Z teams only. The original older Z will also be up there.
We skipped this one to attend the Tx event next month. I didnt hear any thing about the GT 3000. The only other one is the We Todd guys in the honda.

 

Team GT30 is still in hibernation, recovering...
I'm planning to race "only" the 3 Florida races in 2010, Homestead, Sebring, and Palm Beach.

we actually ran into the old and new owners of the "obama-nation", (the red honda civic) they are both in town.

 

I have pictures of that car on Fire at CMP.
I think it want through 3 motors that race.

I got an update from the Blacksheep guys. They are in 20th place only about 12 laps down so its a very close race. No rain but a damp track so its really slippery.

A Probe is winning?

 

The Probe fell out somewhere, 50 laps down, 23rd place

Saab in the lead. Black Sheep in 7th, only 15 laps down!

 

As Jalopnik states the SAAB won.
I spoke with Rob at noon. He stated they were in still in 7th, kyle had set the fast time of the weekend. But he also got a black flag. Thing had warmed up so the tires were finally doing ok. Turn one was still a bit slippery, alot of cars were going off there.

The turn out was light, today there were times when only 35 cars were running. So it was cold but with only 60 cars there was much more room than the previous races.

 

I just got a Txt, The Back sheep team ended up in 8th place. They had 3 black flags and a Flat tire. Charlie set FTD at 101.429
