helmet questions!
so, ive been using a regular ugly hjc motorcycle helmet for a while, and i hate it.
im too tall/seats are too high and it interferres with my roof a ton, and its just ugly, and stupid.
so, im thinking of getting a more motorsports orientated helmet and open to suggestions.
any clues to what might have a smaller height?
figure about 300$ is my limit cheaper the better. just want something that will pass tech up to, say sebring. closed face, preferably
thanks guys!

you will need at least M00 or SA00. I would go ahead and get an 05 though because the 00s only have just over a year of life before they are expired. Honestly there really isn't any "smaller height" helmet. All that "stuff" which makes it taller is there to protect your head.

i understand its for protection, and all that stuff.
am i at least right in assuming a helmet for car use would be shorter than a motorcycle helmet? maybe?

the biggest difference between SA and M helmets is the fire protection SA helmets have and an SA helmet is designed for multiple light impacts like seen in a racing roll over. rather then one or two Large impacts like typically seen in a biking accident.
some brands may have a lower profile if they use a diffrent filler material but I don't know which ones off hand and even then it's most likley only a few millimeters.
