Default Sunburned Again (BMWCCA autox)

Great event today! 4 runs before lunch, 4 runs after. Very long course, about 60 seconds for most people.

Huge thanks to Rob for allowing me to flog his Boxster. Fun car! Super-easy to drive. Can't imagine it on race tires.

And thanks to the Black Sheep for letting me break their LeMons car.

No problem, Loren. I'm glad you flogged the Porsche and broke the Z (instead of the other way around.)

I gotta quit letting people drive my car. The last three people that drove it have all beat me (you, Charlie Thompson, and John Thomas.)

BTW - you left without taking your 1s. I'll give them back the next time I see you.

It was a great day! Loved the course. The weather cooperated. Just a bit of rain on the way home. Thanks to all.

Here's a couple in-car video's:

Mary... she is getting FAST!

One of my runs: Scott's run at BMW Brooksville AutoX 9-20-09 - Car Videos on StreetFire

It's a good way to get a sunburn!

That was my first sunburn since May. I enjoyed every minute.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Thanks Barry! I enjoyed knocking off the rust. If Danny had been driving his boxter rather than his 944S2 with who-knows-what craptastic (v700?) tires, I am sure the results would have been different.
