I agree. In ALMS their presence was pointless near the end. However, "Corvette Racing" did have competition at LeMans this year. They had 2 cars. One did not finish. The other won GT1. They were followed by another Corvette team in 2nd called "Luc Alphand Adventures", and in third place was the lone Aston Martin ran by Jetalliance Racing. And these 2nd and 3rd place teams are not jabrones.

There were a total of 6 GT1 cars. 4 were Corvettes. 1 Aston. 1 Lamborghini. 2 Corvettes and 1 Lamborghini did not finish.

Also, I believe Aston beat up on Corvette Racing last year. So it's not like it's total domination.

 

From what I saw last year the Astons were almost as quick, and finished within 2 laps, but never passed the vettes.

 

The main problem with the Astions was the fack that they had no real factory effort like they did in the past. now that their putting money into a race team they want LMP1 honers.

 

They need to go back to just proto and gt cars ..p2 and gt1 should go..and if ferrari bails on f1 they should get into lms and spice things up

 

Right the ALMS does not need 4 classes. Plus why have the classes if no1 is going to race in P2 and GT1. Thats why I like Grand Am.
