top gear USA finished their first project car
$7000
0-60 ~7 seconds
150 MPH top speed
Track Worthy
and their goal was 70MPG watch the video to see what they got!

Nicely done! I think I want to do the same sort of thing with a Locost. I'm wishing I'd have done it with the Spitfire instead of spending $3k having the Triumph engine rebuilt.

yea I really beleive a Nice small DI diesel is the ticket. the buckets of torque really attract the hairy chested mountain Man inside me, while the fuel Mileage satisfies the Enginerd.

The only thing that would Stink. (pardon the pun) Is the exhaust smell in a convertible. Biodiesel or SVO okay but Dino Diesel is not a pleasant odor to smell like when you arrive somewhere. although I've been told the Low sulfur fuels helped this a ton.
