While I agree, and could dream of finding out first hand, (I have a thing for broads that can drive) she's gotta be better then all of us since someone is paying HER to drive instead of inversely.

Of course I could go on in detail about How Loren and myself Lost to a girl, in OLOA 07. was she a better driver, NOT by a longshot... A better funded and equipped team, yes... No Crew my ass, when her diff broke in ohio there were 4 Germans under her car, wrenching. but I know they were just other teams "co-drivers" She is now traveling around the world because she is a 20 something 6' blond. not the hottest, but better then Danica. I get pissed when I know I'm a great driver but because I'm a 30-somthing overweight male... Not exactly poster boy material.

Don't get me wrong, I dig Amanda, When I conceeded our loss the 2nd to the last day. since mathamatically it was impossable to win. she sat down with me and did Shots of Jack.. so many in fact Loren Almost couldn't wake me the next morning. of course anyone that knows me, knows I live by the go big or go home motto.. having 3 days of a chance of victory, tore me appart.. since next time I go back I'm bringing an elephant gun to hunt squirles.

anyone who doesent know her go to her website wher you can find pictures of her and her "helpful co drivers" that wear support crew uniforms, and perform support crew duties, but are somehow not support crew.

I could not disagree more. She is an "also-ran" a mid-pack runner in a field of mediocrity and I am certain there are many that could do better given the time to train. Hell, there are more talented men in the lower ranks waiting for rides they can't get.

She is there because she is just good enough and a woman and dipshit Tony George thinks he can increase ratings by having that bitch and those other two hacks Milka and Sara out there. In reality they are discrediting the sport.

There is a reason women are not competitive at the top levels of road racing and ovals - they just aint good enough.

yea, I know, I have the "voucher" to call in and claim the tickets, I was not gonna call in until I found out if TAJ needed me for Lemons that weekend.. but IMNSHO I really am not intrigued by "watching" racing.. driving or crewing I enjoy. I'm not a good spectator.

 

The fact that we are even discussing it is proof enough he is right. I don't beleive there is enough Physical difference. I mean there are little to no African American Race Car drivers. does that make them "not good enough" nahh It's just that it's not a supported hobby with a young girl. and it's one hell of an expensive skill to learn. My parents bought me my first go-kart when I was too little to understand what it was. but I learned... Plus if you go to a circle track event, hang out in the pits.. not the place you would want to take a young daughter. I'm with you 100% I have almost no concept of empathy, emotions, or all the things that females are supposed to be good at. I'm either pissed and try to do somthing about it, or not pissed and let things go. but I can rebuild a damper in my sleep... or calculate dynamic suspension loads.... does that make me a better driver.. no, but it does make me faster. Ask Loren, he is a WAY better driver then me in raw tallent. but he can't identify problems with a cars setup as quickly as I can.
