Question for the "Event Promoters" on here
Any of you guys use the new calendar or even the local events section? I know theres quite a few random "oh theres an auto-x? where do they do them at around here, I wanna go" questions asked outside of this forum. I know quite a few ppl check out the local events forum all the time. With the calendar feature, you can add your event, and when it comes to within 2 weeks of the event it is displayed at the bottom of TR all the time.
Just an idea for those that wanna more ppl to come out and just get new faces into the sport. I've copied a few of the bigger event threads from here into local events on occasion. I also do it a lot for the local drift events we do at desoto and it does seem to help quite a bit to get new faces out there.

hmm odd I thought all mods could. If not what did you wanted added and I will add it for you or try PMing Zate or Kirk and see if they will give you permission to add events
