When is everyone planning to head up to SC? We are leaving Tpa first thing Thursday morning so we can be at the track Friday morning for the test sessions.
I just hope the car will last the extra 1.5 hours of track time...

 

I was planing on leaving New Jersey Wednesday Spending a day Just Aimlessly driving around so I could be there thursday night.

were planning leaving Thurs around 7 pm. Then just hanging around Fri. Since we ran the car out at Sebring I dont think we will be running the Fti track event. Plus 2 of our drivers already know that track.

I think the Z team will be heading up on Fri.

 

I don't think I was aware of the Friday practice. Do we have to pay extra for it?

I think it would be a good idea to get those of us who haven't driven the track out for some laps before the race if the opportunity is there.

 

Yea its another $190 and I am not sure how long its for..

 

Correction on knowing the course, Loren and myself Know the "Long" course the short course takes away the more fun faster sections. They are not using the optional Turns 12+13 but 14 is much wider then the last time we were there This is a good thing, since the curbing on the outside of 12 and 14 will shake your fillings out if you look at it wrong, or even consider using it as part of the track.

If anyone wants to familiarize themselves with the track we can take the sentra out friday for hot laps, (If they let us) if you can do it at that speed, doing it at Lemon speed will be easy.. plus we won't abuse the LeMon.

We get five 20 minute sessions for $225. Kinda pricey but will be worth it for someone to gain additional seat time. Out of our 4 drivers we have 1 former FIA license holder and three rookies. I'm sort of green but ran a few auto crosses but nothing wheel to wheel. One guy took some high performance schools at Road Atlanta on a 1000cc crotch rocket so he'll know the racing line but still no wheel to wheel action. The other guy has no experience in nothing at all!! He should be alright since he is a pilot and knows how to handle pressure but then again, nothing wheel to wheel. So for us the extra seat time will be helpful.

yup we are leaving friday morning, we plan to be there with plenty of time to spare for friday anal retentive early check in and tech. we just need a different (non leaking brake booster) and we should be good to go. got some laps in at a housing development, paved but no homes yet. middle of no where, it`s bad ass. anyways...

our hotel is in camden, where is everybody else staying? oh and here`s a pic of the Purple People Eater i guess you could call it, complete with upholstered roof and hood
