Woke up this morning and went to the SCCA sponsored autocross at the Florida Fairgrounds. The track was ok nothing special but it was still a lot of fun. Ran in Novice class since I didnt know what to expect and I think I did pretty well with a 47.2; I know with just one more run I could have made it into the 46s.
We all got 4 runs each and the weather stayed nice overcast and cool the whole time.
Best part of the day was watching a mustang take out the timing light that the organizers had just spent 15minutes setting up.

Didnt see anyone from TR.com out there aside from Charles where were you all?

i was sleeping on someones couch but it was a nice couch and i didnt have any problems getting comfortable and ran a few trial naps without any problems so i went for the big feista

 

Well I saw DaveROR MilkMan HellaSlow and Red92Si (although the last 3 didnt race). I even saw Cone Jockey for a few minuetes. I liked the course...of course I like them ALL!

I got 2nd in my class!!!!

Bill: You didnt wait for your 5th place trophy? They called your name but you werent there.

Oh and did you take off the turbo? I didnt hear the blow off valve vent ever.

 

ummmm....I didnt take my Turbo Si....I had the Black Type-R. The Blue Si was a friend from Orlando. My best time was a 46.0 something...Would of had a 45.3...but hit a damn cone.

Marc Jarin and Jarins father (black s2000) were also there not sure if they are members of TR or not..

I got first in DSP (bumped up from STR) a WRX got second in DSP. My best time was a 43.807 and I missed cones the whole day I did finally hit one during a fun run though.

it was fun. a real nice day for auto-xing too. . .

 

Yeah it was a blast I took 1st in Street Mod w/ a 42.438 my first two runs sucked and were in the 44s then I started getting better at the slalom and was able to get better times on my 3rd and 4th run and get two 42s. I know I could have pulled a high 41 cause I kept screwing up the 180 degree turn and pushing like crazy but I still got 3rd fastest time of day.
