are we all just going out on sunday or is anyone going on saturday too? saturday is just for fun practice and then on sunday they change the track around a bit

 

Does it cost extra for Sat? Do spectators get charged?

Ill be there sunday but cant go saturday. I dont think the transmission could handle 2 days of torture its getting ready to make an exit shortly (It is acting like it)... Its now accrued 146000 tortorous miles consisting of 1/4 mile blasts and autocrosses. I guess I shouldnt complain it has lasted a long time given the harsh life its had... I hope it will last through the event Sunday. If not at least it will go out with a bang! hahahaha

After all the effort Ive gone to so I can go this weekend I wont be able to go now. Ive got a few things stopping me now one being my sister in law is ready to have her baby. The other is my Transmission is not shifting gears its sliding through the gears. A bad sign.......... Good luck to everyone else who does get to go!

Thats bad news Bob whats worse is I wont be going now either. I went to a Queers concert last night and ended up having some dumb ass crowd surfer land on my head. Cant really turn my head right now without being in a lot of pain. Guess Im getting too old now for stand up concerts; I just dont heal as fast as I used to. Getting old sucks...

 

Bob - Do you know where youre going to get the tranny rebuilt? GNT Performance did my 200 4r for a good price.

Bill - You can still come and watch right?

Me - I bought a Helmet yesterday and now the only thing stopping me is getting up in the morning.

 

Ya I think Ill still stop by and socialize. I even went out to buy a helmet the other day but couldnt find Automotive Engineering and gave up. Oh well if all goes well Ill definately be running March 17th when the Sunriders meet back up at St. Pete JCC.

Ill be doing the rebuild myself. First Ill be putting in a shift Kit to try to clear up the sliding problem. We had the exact same problem occour on my father in laws 87GN when he hit 12s too. He also thought it was time for a rebuild but one of our buddies said to go with a shift kit and see if it clears it up. Worked for him but my car has 100000 miles more than his did! Ill let ya know if the kit works Ill be back looking for 12.2-12.3s.... And Autocrossing next month! See ya
