Only new mods were a new y-pipe and a new set of regular Nitto radials not drag radials.

Still have some issues to work out like having to granny shift due to tire spin. Hitting the rev limit in fourth before the traps so I have to shift into fifth. That sucks! New cam and pully waiting to go in next then some draglites and Et Streets. Looking for 10s someday..........Al

Yeah 120 is great but it sucks right now I have to shift into fifth gear. When the car is completely ready I will throw on some 28 ET Streets and skinnies on the front raise the rev limit to 6800rpm. That should get me through the traps in fourth at an even higher mph. But for now 11.7 @ 120+ mph on street radials will do. Still waiting to meet up with Acme on the street someday Hehehe.

Man...5th gear through the traps?!?!! ARGH! Thats not how God intended it!
And I can say with a high level of assurity that ACME doesnt want to meet you on th street even if the bottles are empty

Nice time Al. You should be proud of such an accomplishment. That speed on street tires at Desoto would be .2 faster nearly anywhere else. Anywhere else on slicks should be tens. Go for the gusto!

Quick20.......Is Desoto really that bad? Actually thats the only place Ive ever raced. What about OSW? The only thing is I dont have a roll cage. So I guess Desoto is about it for now.

Ive run 2 different cars on both tracks and have never run that much different at Orlando. But thats not the case for most people who seem to run faster over there. Rumor has it the track is shorter in Orlando! Since they are NHRA I seriously doubt this claim. I suspect the track is just prepped better.
