Default FAST Brooksville - Dec. 16

FAST Autocross Event 11

DATE: 12/16/2007
COST: $30
CITY: Brooksville
THE DETAILS / REGISTRATION INFO: FAST Autocross #11
OFFICIAL EVENT CONVERSATION: FAST :: View topic - Brooksville - 16 Dec
MAIN FAST SITE: FAST

Ya'll come on out!

Well, folks, some policy changes at the airport have made it necessary for us to change the registration procedure for Brooksville events, effective immediately:

Registration will be capped at 50, instead of 80. All registrations must be prepaid, and will be nonrefundable and noncreditable.

We will allow a maximum of 25 guests/spectators. They must also preregister, and a $5 charge to cover lunch must be prepaid, and will also be nonfundable and noncreditable.

For those of you who have already registered for the Dec. event, you will be receiving a notice soon. We apologize for the short notice, however, we too did not receive much notice from the airport administration.

We at FAST have tried to keep our policies as flexible and "laid back" as we can. However, as we want to continue to enjoy the Brooksville site, we had to make adjustments to satisfy their requirements.

We appreciate your support and understanding. Please know that this will in no way change your FAST autocross experience - same quality events, same world-famous lunch always included.

Registration procedure for SPC events does not change.

Any questions may be posted here, emailed or pm'd to me, or to wedrivefaster@yahoo.com

How do you register online just as a guest, you only have options for drivers, just dont want any confusion or take away from a race spot.

My guess is that given the restricted number of guests that we can allow, those guest slots will be made available to guests of drivers before we allow "unsponsored" guests. So, your best bet would be to pair up with someone who's going to compete and ask them to list you as their guest when they register.

It's already full?!?!?

$#%^#$!

Any chance there will be cancellations? It seems like since everyone is prepaid, cancellations won't be possible, and there won't be any openings.

Not everyone is prepaid, there were some who entered before that change in policy came about. Jamie's going to clean house about Wednesday and remove anyone who's not pre-paid by then. Current tally of actual pre-paid entries is in the first post of This Topic.

The registration site says it is full.
Is there a stand-by list?

The Fiero is 50lbs lighter and hungry for some track time.

Sorry, no standby list.

The reg. deadline is 12/6 - keep an eye on MAE to watch for any cancellations. It's possible someone may drop out...if not, our next one is 1/13!
