I really need to start getting up early. I get there only to shoot like 5-6 runs left, they were over by 1:30 too.

Thanks for the photos of Danny driving the snot out of my GRM$2007 Car.
It is now snot free.

I was absolutely thrilled with the Car at the Challlenge.
It was top 10 in the Autocross, and finshed in 14th place overall (out of 46 cars I believe).
It was my first challenge, and I can't believe the car did so well.

I should mention that it was totally worth going just to see the '62 Fiat, and the Hong Norr "Petty" Honda.

 

The Challenge is done already? Where does the time go?

Impressive finish! And you only spent about half your budget, didn't you?

 

Thanks Loren. I had a great time at the Challenge. And it does come up faster than you think.

I think my total build cost was $1,225.
Hardly fair to make me compete against $2007 cars.
(I'm totally kidding, no hate mail please.)

I believe they do have a special class for cars under $1,000.
Thinking back, If I had made my own sway bar and mounted my own tires, I could have done it. I just didn't know the class existed in time.

 

Kinda surprised looking inside your car, they dont require both front seats for the GRM.
