Default Where to get tires SHAVED?

Hey what's up guys, does anyone know anywhere in tampa that will shave tires for roadracing? Any help is appreciated... thanks.

I thought about throwing the fronts on the rear and melting them down , but that tends to shit-can the middle of the tires more because of how the tire is spinning when doing a burnout.

Which car? What kind of tires? What kind of racing?

You can order new tires shaved from the Tire Rack.

I already have the tires... Falken Azenis RT615's. I'm shaving them because of a small tread issue i'm having... just want to know if there are any shops in town that do tire shaving.

It's highly unlikely. Tire shaving equipment is expensive and typically only used to shave new tires.

Shaving used tires is usually a big no-no for companies who have gotten a tire shaver. It's too easy to mess up the blades is the reason I've heard in the past. Definately nobody locally will do it.

No, feathered from an alignment issue. But, I rotated the fronts to the back, and went out friday night and melted them down good. All is well

So what if they're feathered? Why would you need them shaved?
