Default PCA 1-21 post event comments

Well it was the Porsche club's first event with Ralph officially in charge (and with me lending an unofficial helping hand), what did people think?

We had Two (2) toilets. (yeah!)
It pretty much started on time.
And we got Five (5) runs plus Fun Runs on a failry fast course.
No one drove over the burm.
No sky divers killed (as far as I know)
Not bad for a play off day.

I enjoyed it!

Don't forget the promotional coffee/donuts/savory lunchtime foodstuffs provided by ah, who was it? Reeves and another one... whoops.

I liked the course and everything seemed to run smoothly. Great job!

Good to see some fresh blood running that program.

There was a HUGE Porsche/BMW club event at Sebring last weekend. It wasn't a "PCA" event, but I'm still sort of surprised that they scheduled an autocross on that date. Worked out, though. Doesn't sound like it affected attendance too much.

Why do they still run at Zephyrhills, when Brooksville is available?

I like Zeypherhills. Central location, nice group to run with.

Z-hills doesn't have the pre-reg hassles of Brooksville, either.

Not a bad site. We really don't have a "great" site in this area.

Besides, I like knowing that someone's keeping their foot in the door at another site. I've seen a club go from having 5 sites available to having 2 in a matter of months. It's good to have options.

^ Amen to that. If Homeland Security decides to put a stop to our kind of fun at airports this whole region would suddenly be hurting pretty bad. Plus being able to bring a friend last-minute is nice.

The only reason its a hassle at Brooksville is because of the National Guard Unit Stationed at the Brooksville Airport.
