So, how did it go?

 

I had a great time. The new race tires seem to be doing well. I also took a ride in the GTO today. What a hoot!

Thanks to everybody for coming out, I hope ( ) that you'll be out for the Brooksville event next month!

 

Yep, it was an awesome event - full grid, all the walk-ups got to run (BeQuiet, you shoulda come out...), six runs, all smooth as can be, great mini-road course (thanks, Alizarin).

I cannot WAIT for Feb. 17th...

Full grid, lots of new faces, everyone got six runs, we cleared the site with plenty of daylight to spare. Interesting course...deserved better than the drive I gave it. Well done, Kenny!

 

Ya i had alot of fun,spinning out and drifting the whole figure 8 was my fun lol.Great track just wish i wasnt stuck in low ass 2nd gear.

 

I had an absolute blast!!!!!!!!!

While this course was a bit on the tight side (a few of us even tried it in 1st gear), most autocross courses are run mostly, if not entirely, in 2d gear. That's the nature of the beast -- keeping the speeds below 60-70 keeps the risk low enough we're not required to have roll cages, fire suits, and so on.

 

I wish I got your "WOOOOOOO!" on video...
