Default Front suspension styles

So im sorta wondering whats the better style of these 2 suspension styles.

The style on my mustang has the 1 control arm, and a macpherson strut. The control arm connects At 2 points to the k-member.

Then you have something like what a Nissan 240 has, with 1 control, 1 tension rod and a strut. The control arm is connect at only 1 point to the k member, then then tension rod is the 2nd pt .

Which is the better style?

i would say the nissan's is better cause it's not a ford but i'm not familiar with either suspensions so my opinion is really worthless.

just an added point of adjustability from what I can tell.

McPherson Struts are simple. work well (When tuned correctly) are are cheap to build. just keep in mind they do not forgive over lowering a car, nor do they forgive poor tuning.

The "style" suspension is not better than another. You'd have to look at the bump curves to see which particular setup is better.
