Default Homestead, Miami- 2 Weeks!

Anyone here going? Im signed up for HPDE-1 on Sunday.

I missed the Sebring event because I blew a motor 2 weeks prior to the event. LUCKILY they let me cancel and switch it over to homestead this month! I just picked up a new motor last night so hopefully this one will get me there!

I'd like to get out and try some different race tracks, but since I was at Sebring this past Saturday, I don't think I'll be doing any more track events until sometime after Christmas (and after the Christmas bills are paid!).

This time of year ROCKS for doing track events, though. Much nicer than mid-summer.

Hope everything works out this time.

I know team sol members are headed down in December, so I'll probably head out with them.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Ill give them a shot, but they will probably want more than I can spend at the moment. Usually junk yards want around a grand for a single cam motor, which is a bit high.
