Default Greys Farm Rally-X

Teriffic Event by CFR Region. Great Site 1.20 min lap time mostly top of second/3rd gear course. 6 runs and on the road by 2:45 Great combination of sweeping, pin, and transision turns. (Even a handbrake turn) I was Very suprised how well the Victory specification is suited on dirt. Considering it's been almost 4 years since I rallycrossed.

I'm so impressed with the sentra. Win FTD "Street" Car (second only to a slick tire tube chassis monster) the previous Porsche autocross event, With the same setup drive 140 miles to a farm and Rallycross and win SF class in that event, drive 100 miles to Jacksonville, run it through a $5 wash Hang out at a car show and goof off. then back to tampa, the next day, Averaging 25 MPG for the whole cycle, I want to stop modifying it since it's so darn good.

Were at Sebring for the double day event a few weeks back, when the Lotus hit the fence? If so I was out on course enjoying watching you drive.

Sounds like a good event.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I was there, signed up and even stayed at the hotel Friday night. i went ahead and changed some suspension (actually let someone else work on my car for the first and last time) then drove down there. Saturday morning I woke up and drove for gas, on the way back the car was pulling right like it had a flat, winds up the locks on the Ecentric Bolts slipped on the one side and the toe/camber and caster were all Fuxed. lucky I found a Goodyear tire open on saturday and was able to fix the allignment however I was in no condition/Mood to run the event. Plus after paying for 2 allignments in as many days I would have Blown my racing budget for the month if I ran the event. However one good thing did come from it, talking to some of the one lap guys Friday night I got convinced to enter for 2007. now I just Need a capable Co-Driver.

Default One Lap Schedule

ONE WEEK 6000 MILES (8000 WITH TRANSIT TO AND FROM SOUTH BEND)

it's 1000 miles a day plus track time. I have an in with Nissan Motorsports if we choose to pull the trigger.

I HAVE THE CAR, firesuit, and equipment, I'd like a tag along trailer since you have to bring any tires you use. though, NO TIRE SPONSORS ARE ALLOWED (THANKS TIRERACK)

My perfect co-driver does not have to posess a racing license as only one person in the car NEEDS to. however it would be helpful if somthing happens to me or I get sick I need someone to back me up. Most any racing license is applicaple.

Here is the schedule, It should cost ~$5000.00 however
One Lap of America - the Official Webpage

I will be starting an offical one lap 2007 Tampa racing entry post since we can even add a 3rd or 4th driver. oh and I will be Sponsoring the event so I will cover the brunt of the expenses.

Well, I have no licenses, but I do have track experience and can certainly help with the road driving. I don't mind driving as much as 8-10, even 12 hours in a day. May is workable for me, time off work is not a problem. I should be able to at least cover my own expenses and maybe help with gas/tire expenses if you need it. I wonder if I could round up a sponsor? Could definitely sponsor/create a team website.

Sounds like a crazy fun thing to do to me! Lemme know if you don't come up with any better offers.

loren you are one of my first choices. your entry is $150 since your a 'driver" I'm sure we could get you in a pay school or a nasa TT license pretty cheaply and by may. if not I still need a good reliable crew and I've known you long enough to trust you with my car. I would still like a 3rd driver since it might get tiring after a couple days. PS> I will be continuing this on the new thread
