Nov. 11-12 Florida State Championships
Hey just throwing this out there, The Florida State Championships are beiung held down in Ft. Myers at the Gulf Coast Autocrossers site. Nov 11 is practive day and Nov 12 is competition day. They have a mail in entry form and that gets you an event T-shirt and garanteed lunch. Awsome course down there mile long or more. Also note there is a strict 92 db noise limit so if you plan to go and you know your car is loud work on getting it quiet. I have some suggestions if your would like to know pm me.
Heres the entry form.

Thanks for the link, I was told about this event this weekend and was going to look for it. I am going to enter.
From what I understand the classes are not bumped, so if I am the only entry in my class will I be able to compete?

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Sorry to hear about your motor.
The guy who breaks it, should be the guy who pays to fix it.
(I saw it on the people's court yesterday.)
Hope you are up and running for the event. Good luck.

I wanted to participate this year, but I will be at Sebring on 11/11 and it is too much trouble to do both. I will be at the NASA event in Brooksville, trying to cord my v710s (105 runs since May!).

GCAC also has an event the week before, on the 4/5 of Nov- 4th is test and tune and novice school and 5th is event day. So if you are like me and need the practice there is that opportunity as well.

What do you mean...from Sebring, you're most of the way there!
It isn't worth it to me to stay the night in a hotel in Ft Myers, nor drive from St Pete the next day.

oh i might get lucky ...a rough DB test last ngiht showed 92 db from @ 70-75 ft away. So i need to get out the tape measure and be exact. I might be bale to make this happen with minimal changes
