I remember seeing something indicating the road course, but can't find it.

Yea which entrance should I drive to? I hope for the road course, would be fun since I've been running runways and parking lots all season.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

well it was in the parking lot . still a fun and different course . gawd traction sux but not that bad considering Steve got FTD with a 35.7 i believe. Brian did awesome with the kart as well. Vivek beat me but not by much, damn domestics Jayson in the green crx did well to. Even after his spin out.

I really did intend to go... I had the car all packed and everything. But when the alarm went off at 5am I must have switched it off and gone back to sleep, haha.
Whoops.
So how was the turnout?

72, including Brian and Jesse in Brian's kart. Quite a crowd, compared to the last few months. Only four compeition runs, but they were still doing fun runs when I rolled out the gate.
I hadn't been up to Gainesville since they started using the parking lot, (and also since I'd switched from the Prelude to the Miata). The transition from the old asphalt to the new section was interesting, since it came in the middle of that long sweeping turn into the long slalom. I'd have been happier if I hadn't tagged the second-to-last cone before the finish on my fastest run, but I thought it was a good event.
